West Coast Express
The West Coast Express (WCE) is a weekday-only commuter rail service operated by TransLink, the regional transportation authority in Metro Vancouver.
It runs between Mission City in the Fraser Valley and Waterfront Station in downtown Vancouver, with intermediate stops at Port Haney, Maple Meadows, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam Central, and Moody Centre.
Trains travel westbound to Vancouver in the morning and eastbound to Mission City in the afternoon and evening. The full trip takes about 75 minutes end to end.
The service operates only on weekdays, typically with five trains each direction, and does not run on weekends or most public holidays. Riders should plan according to the fixed timetable and note the availability of Park & Ride facilities at outer stations.
While the WCE offers a comfortable and scenic alternative to driving during rush hours, its limited frequency means it may not suit flexible travel needs outside peak periods.
